Range
The
Datapath iH4 range of graphics cards are powerful
multi-screen graphics adapters providing solutions
for high quality, complex video walls, data walls or
multi-screen desktop applications.
Using
multiple iH4 cards in your system it is possible to
create a display which allows the Windows desktop to
be spread across a maximum of forty screens.
Constructing a multi-screen video wall or data wall
using the iH4 range of graphics cards enables the
display to be arranged in any rectangular format, by
introducing the iH4-PRO, iH4-DIG and iH4-SIP, the
option of displaying high quality video overlays
becomes available.
In
effect, four graphics cards in one, the iH4 has four
independent 64bit Savage4-PRO graphics processors,
each with 16MBytes of memory - one per display
channel. The iH4-SIP has four Savage4 GPU's each
with 16Mb frame buffers (total 64Mb) and four SIP
video processors each with 64Mb frame buffers (total
256Mb)- to bring superb image quality at high
resolution and colour depths. With four DVI outputs,
each supporting a resolution of 1280 x 1024
(digital) and 1600 x 1200 (analog) you can be sure
of displaying all the applications you need. If you
need more screens, simply install another iH4 card
in your machine up to a maximum of ten cards.
Datapath
multi screen video solutions use the latest digital
technology for stunning video quality. Multiple
independent video windows can be displayed
simultaneously, and can be scaled to full screen
with horizontal and vertical interpolation for high
quality images. Chroma-key support also allows you
to overlay graphics onto video and video onto
graphics.
The
iH4 can also be used with up to four VQS01
controllers allowing you to increase the number of
displays from four to sixteen from a single iH4
card. For wall applications requiring support for a
large number of displays, it is possible to use up
to ten iH4 cards and thirty-two VQS01 controllers.
This configuration provides support for up to 160
displays.
Note:
The maximum resolution per display when using the
VQS01 is 1024 x 768.

iH4 range of graphics adapters are supplied with the

iH4
The
iH4 operates with the Windows® XP operating
system and spreads the Windows® desktop across
the multi-screen display. Windows® applications
can be positioned and sized anywhere on the desktop.
The Windows® operarting system sees the
multi-screen display as one large desktop.

the iH4-PRO provides high quality video
overlays enabling the display of live video
sources.

high quality video overlays (one per
screen). Overlays can be sized and
positioned anywhere on the wall (only
one video overlay per screen).

composite video or two S-Video inputs
using the Video Input Module (VIM)
option.
- Increase
the number of video inputs to 16 or 32

iH4-SIP
The
iH4-SIP provides all the features of the current iH4
range but it also includes four high performance
video overlay processors. The iH4-SIP provides one
overlay processor per display channel combined with
256Mb of overlay memory supporting 16 overlay
windows and tripple buffering for each output
channel. For systems that require more than four
displays up to ten iH4-SIP cards can be used with
the Mosaic-SQ16 providing support for up to forty
displays and with the ability to position and size
video overlay windows anywhere on the display wall.

Drivers
- Special
multi-screen display driver for use with Windows®
2000 and Windows®
XP. The function of the display driver is to
present one large desktop to the Windows
operating system. The multi screen driver will
support up to a maximum of 40 screens.
